China to Benefit from MICHELL Instruments' Expertise

Four products in Michell Instruments' hygrometer range have been issued with Pattern Approval Certificates by the China Pattern Approval Authority. Having been independently tested for compliance in every area of their published operating and performance specification by the Chang Cheng Institute of Metrology and Measurement in Beijing, the S4000, Dewmet, Transmet and Cermex hygrometers are now approved for use in a wide range of industrial applications throughout China.

The rigorous approval process, which took place over many months, resulted in the S4000 being approved to an accuracy of ±0.1°C dew point in the range -55°C to +20°C dew point and the Dewmet to an accuracy of ±0.2°C dew point in the range -60°C to +88°C .

In addition, the Transmet and Cermex impedance hygrometers have been approved to an accuracy of ±1°C dew point in the range -60°C to +20°C dew point and ±2°C dew point in the range -80°C to -60°C respectively.

Michell Instruments' cooled mirror dew-point hygrometers are suitable for critical process monitoring/control applications and also as a calibration reference for the test and calibration of other humidity sensors.
Transmet is a low-cost, wide-range, dew-point transmitter suitable for many industrial process/control applications such as compressed air and high-purity gases. It can be connected to a simple display indicator, or through its digital communications, to a control computer system.

Cermax is a multi-function, battery-operated, portable hygrometer with fast response and built-in data logging. It can be used to spot-check a variety of gases and compressed-air systems at field locations on process plants.
