Michell Instruments at Miconex Shanghai 2001
Michell Instruments will be showcasing its extensive range of products
for the measurement and control of dewpoint and humidity at Miconex 2001.
The company has been at the forefront of such measurement instrumentation
technology for over 25 years, designing and manufacturing innovative products
to meet the needs of industry.
Michell Instruments will have on display the following products at Miconex
2001:
CERMET II
Michell's latest generation Advanced Ceramic Moisture Sensor combines
power, performance and reliability to offer users a multi-purpose on-line
hygrometer. The Cermet II sensor variant has a measurement range of -100
to +20°C dewpoint at pressures up to 300 bar g and offers a measurement
accuracy of better than 1°C dp (±2°C dp below -60°C).
Every Cermet II sensor is calibrated at 13 points across the measurement
range, with readings referenced against a UKAS calibrated cooled mirror
dewpointmeter.
TRANSMET
Transmet provides total humidity measurement functionality in a standard,
low cost unit, to which can be added a range of optional extras to fulfil
the needs of almost any user. Transmet is extremely easy to use, performing
on the same level and using the same technology as the Cermet II. It is
a fully self-contained three wire transmitter comprising combined sensor
probe and electronics housed in an industry standard electrical termination
enclosure, providing IP65 environmental protection.
CERMAX
Weighing less than 3kg and extremely easy to use, Cermax is a fully self-contained
high performance portable hygrometer in a custom moulded carry case. Simply
connect the sample gas to the Swagelok® inlet port, turn on the power
and within seconds Cermax is ready to display the measured dewpoint of
the sample gas under test.
S4000 INTEGRALE
The S4000 Integrale comprises instrument and sensor in a single bench
mounting case, utilising the fundamental cooled mirror technology which
allows for a high precision dewpoint measurement. Available with a neat
carry handle and weighing less than 10kg, the S4000 Integrale is ideal
as a laboratory or field reference hygrometer as well as being suitable
for critical measurement applications, down to -60 ºC dew point,
or 10 parts per million.
DEWMET
The Dewmet range offers a combination of high accuracy, long term stability,
ease of use and affordable prices. Two sensor versions are available,
Standard and Climatic. The Standard sensor offers the widest operating
range and is designed for use in non-condensing atmospheres, whereas the
Climatic sensor is sealed, to give extra protection in condensing conditions.
HUMIDITY CALIBRATION SYSTEMS
Michell's range of humidity calibration equipment includes the DCS, HG-10
and HG-1. The DCS is a completely automatic unit with the capabilities
to produce a flow of air at a range of dewpoints from -100 to +20. It
is contained within a 19" floor standing rack unit. The HG-10 is
a fully automatic system that can calibrate humidity sensors over a wide
range of temperatures and humidities. It is a computer controlled system
which allows start, end values, ramp speeds and dwell times to be selected.
The HG-1 is the latest addition to this range of equipment. It is a fully
portable humidity calibrator that monitors the accuracy and performance
of relative humidity probes, cooled mirror and capacitance dewpoint sensors.
CONDUMAX
The Condumax Hydrocarbon Dewpoint Analyser provides automatic, reliable
analysis and on-line measurement of the hydrocarbon condensation temperature
of natural gas. It gives a direct fundamental measurement with extremely
accurate and consistent results, and features in-built calibration routines.
